see it, even with 3G NTFS. I've had times where I simply needed to plug it
back in to the pc, let it mount, and then eject it again. If you don't have
a PC on hand, that can be a bit of a problem of course. Hopefully it is
that simple in this case.

Subject: [Avid-L2] PC drive on Mac
Well its happened again. Another client sends all the avid media on a
2TB LaCie drive, formatted for PC but they claim a mac can see it. I
have been able to mount PC drives all my life on macs but for some
reason, my 2009 Quadcore with snow leopard just won't see them. I
just installed MacFuse and NTSF and I still can't see the drive. This
is driving me crazy. The last time I posted, a few weeks back, tries
all the solutions and ended up having to send the drive out to swap
the files. Took days. Could there be anything in current MC verision
or CalDigit drivers that could be blocking any chance of reading a PC
drive. When I boot up it just says "Drive not recognized". It does
show up in the Drive Utility but can mount or run repair or verify.
thanks
Lou
