Sure, but that is not without some quality loss, since the 220 level steps
are then first being stretched over 256 steps, then compressed to 220 steps.
That screams rounding errors, in my book.

I just don't get why I cannot force all the FCP elements in the equation to
stop touching the levels, and keep everything as is.
