[Avid-L2] Re: Is this a bug in MC 4.x?

I've gotten this sometimes when loading Meridian projects that were brought over to MC4. Honestly, I haven't looked for a solution to it in these cases yet, but even with AMA turned off, I end up having to double click the .avp file in the project folder, let the project load, then in the "Select Project" window, select that project.

On rare occasions, I've also created a brand new project in MC4 and wound up with the dialog you mentioned. For that, I have to go into the project folder on the desktop, find the Avid Video Project file, add the ".avp" extension to it, then go back to MC and select the project for it to open.
