[Avid-L2] OT - freelancer asked to sign Arbitration Agreement?

I'm a freelance editor and after a first gig with a small (3 person)
company, I was asked to fill out a many forms and agreements to get
in their system. The one I never encountered before was an
"Arbitration Agreement" that requires all disputes to be settles by
American Arbitration Association.

Anyone ever encounter this or have any thoughts?
