Re: [Avid-L2] Repeated MC4.0.5 crashes. Random but Resilient.

Actually no. Now that I have finally tracked the bugger down.

I tracked the issue back to partially rendered motion effects. Since
the Avid treats all the 'off-speed' material in a sequence as
timewarps, and we were cutting mostly 23.98 material in a 59.94
sequence...everything was basically a motion effect. The editor would
render to screen for clients, go back and start trimming and
slipping..and have a bunch of partially rendered timewarps. Then
later when he would cut into them or shift them, the system would fall
apart.

Seems like those renders would go corrupt over time. As soon as I
opened up the sequence, cleared all renders including motion effects,
it was fine.

It's always in the last place you look right?
