90-95% chance that sound was recorded separately from the Red. If so:
- Picture brought into FCP.
- Sound brought into FCP.
- Synced-up in FCP.

If you need access to their cut sequence, you need access to both picture
and sound. You could try to conform their work version using EDL's and/or
Automatic Duck, but there won't be a link between picture and sound, other
than the one in the edit.

I don't know any way to bring synced clips from FCP to Avid or vice versa, I
mean synced clips with the advantages of being able to matchframe etc.
