What sort of budget and use had you in mind?

Standalone player, MAM, what?

Subject: [Avid-L2] Anyway to preview MXF files without MC?

I did a quick search but couldn't find anything useful. So here's my question to the Avid-L folks: is there a way to open MXF files without the Avid?
Often, we store hard-drives with media from current and older projects and it would be great to be able to see what's on those drives without having to plug them on the Avid machine. Any software out there that can do that?
Thanks, Pierre
