I have heard that the DX doesn't work with the processors in the z400 the
same way it does on the z800. I found in my tests (not exhaustive) that
software only on the z800 rendered many things using a single processor -
once the DX was attached, it rendered across all 8.

Runs great on the z400. XPPRO.

The recent free pc upgrade promo expired but the upgrade is still a
good deal.
