Naw.... If Avid dropped it, someone would pick it up.
If Lightworks can still be a tool... MC will be around for quite some
time.
The more I hear about MC and ProTools integration, the recent ability
to mix frame rates, plus the promises of AMA, the stronger I feel
about MC keeping it's leader-status.
And, as was mentioned earlier, Apple is slacking on the FCS front --
though I am hearing buzz about Adobe Premiere.
