[Avid-L2] Re: Help-OT macbook

Take it back to Apple even out of warranty.

They had a known issue with some logicboards. Mine showed as a dead screen on my laptop. I had to leave it with them for a few days and then had to re-register some of my software.

Another trick if they are giving you a hard time is to gently mention what you do for a living. A few people have told me that suddenly work they weren't going to do the did. For me, they replaced my battery. After repeatedly telling me they wouldn't suddenly they threw a brand new battery in.
