I think Wilson did it with the old Clariion arrays or maybe the one
after that. The iBOD is a different animal .

Someone we all know on this list figured this out years ago. All you
have to do is use all the same drives in your array. Same size, same
manufacturer.

But buying a Terrablock is still the better answer.
