[Avid-L2] Re: New Sony roadmap

So it says DPX now and MXF file transfer in the future. What are the goes into and goes outof for this? Is it the RS-232 port or the ethernet? All the input/outputs I see are HDSDI, SDI for output and composite for monitoring. I'm just not at all familiar with how you would feed the deck DPX files or pull them off. Is there an external box or some kind of mod like Panny did with D-5 to turn the deck into a bit bucket?
