[Avid-L2] OT: Grass Valley 110 switcher tally lights

Of all the message boards that I frequent, THIS ONE is the most likely to have an answer to this question. I help out a local non-profit with their studio shoots and recently their old Echolab switcher gave up the ghost. Fortunately they received a donation of an old Grass Valley 110 switcher just in time. Unfortunately it came without a manual and I'm having no luck in sorting out how to hook up the tally lights to the Sony camera control units. The Sony's want a contact closure to light up and while I see a group of pins on the back of the Grass Valley labeled Tally I'm not measuring a voltage or a contact closure from any of the pins labeled 1-8 and the pin labeled ground.

Anyone here have experience with the Grass Valley 110 switcher and can you shed any light on what I should do to make this work? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.
