Further to other post which didn't really get any responses, is anyone
actually using metafuze to do proper conversions to uncompressed MXF? After
lots of investigation I think the blacks and whites come out at the wrong
level which must be the difference between 0-255 and video. However even
presuming that we can't get it to work, we have tried modifying the LUTs but
with no real success. The DPX's are definitely 709 and work in a DS if you
import using that LUT. So you would expect if you select 709 for the DPX's
and 709 for the transcoded MXF all would work but it definitely doesn't
Anyone any insight into this?
