He's saying basically what I said. The only items in here that are over and above a "high-end" FCP suite are the Smoke software, Autodesk maintenance contract and the Quadro graphics card. Plus he's loaded it with a lot of other niceties that aren't required for the system to operate, such as the Dreamcolor monitors. Here's a similar FCP configuration I've done (download the spreadsheet).
