job. Don't like the fragility of computer files, but it's the
future, eh? Avid's AMA is nice, working well in our tests so far.
However, to test robustness, I yanked the power cord while
rolling (course it can't be 'rolling' now, or 'taping' --
whaddaya call it?!) on a few clips cuz sooner or later it'll
happen on a real shoot.
All the clips are broken. And while they show up with Yellow X's
(repairable according to Panny's info) the 'Repair Clip' choice
in the menu is un-selectable. None of Panny's P2 software seems
to offer a repair clip function.
So what are you P2 users doing? Surely clips must go bad from
time to time. How do you recover them?
