Not approved but is working after a fashion in software only mode if you mess with the permissions on the Application Support folder in the Library. There is a thread on the forums about it. See http://community.avid.com/forums/t/75323.aspx

At the moment we are between a rock and hard place again, as Apple will only ship 10.6 machines that cannot be back rev'ed to 10.5.

Also don't try and put a 10.6 machine on Unity, it just won't work at all (been there - suffered the pain).
