I was about to say that I thought the 5800 was U-matic. Talk about a
wayback machine...

Reminds me of the time someone told me the deck wouldn't accept the
size tape she had. Back then, there weren't that many tape sizes and I
couldn't understand what size tape wouldn't fit in the deck... Turns
out she was trying to load it before taking the tape out of its
case... :-(
