I saw this error on a recent Mac install with a funky SAS RAID. The OS
was just upgraded to 10.5.8.
Try launching composer with the option key or hiding/disconnecting all
the storage
Once the user bypassed the drives and bins they were able to load the
app and then open and save normally.
If that fails, reinstall the app
