Stay safe John. Leave the cheese grater behind if you have to get out. CBS devoted their whole newscast to the fires last night. I can't remember the last time any of the networks did that. Just as they got the Sunset Fire contained another house on our side of the Hollywood Hills caught fire internally. We were ready to go if we got the notice. Fortunately the winds aren't as strong today and the Water Dropping Chopper came right over our house to douse a brush fire caused by the house fire in Studio City. WHEW!!!I've brought all my gear back in and hooked it up. I wouldn't need so much Advil if it weren't for the Cheese Grater.Sadly I have several friends that have lost their homes in Altadena and the Palisades. Very grateful for the first responders and all the broadcasters busting the butts to keep us safe and informed.
