Thank you for that information. I had never though that the properties duration was a decimal and not frames. They have now told me their "Switch" software/system is new. From what I've already posted it seems to mimic the properties window duration as you pointed out in decimals.Here is what I heard back today, "Hi John,
I've attached what I see in an application called Switch that we use to check the technical specs. The example image in black shows what we look for in making sure the specs match that example. Being new to this, I'm not sure how much the language and clean aperture matter, I was just told everything needs to match that example. According to your screen grabs, I can see that the specs are correct. This may be a matter of one application is showing slight variation in the specs than the other."
So there you have it. I guess after 40+ years I do know what an exact 20 seconds is. More will be revealed.
