YUV rec 709 is possible with any codec, not?
Then, there never was a gamma shift in the files, but there was an issue with wrong flagging so players would playback wrong.
QTchange can fix that nowadays.

I always online in YUV Rec 709 color space projects so I'm limited to ProResHQ. If I just toggle the project to a 444 project can I just mixdown to ProRes 444 and will there be any gamma/color shift? I suppose I could export a DNxHRHQX file and use Adobe Media Encoder using the DNxHRHQX as a mezzanine file. Any suggestions?
