Re: [Avid-L2] Move just the media in a sequence to a new system

As Trevor says, putting the sequence into its own bin and showing reference clips gives you a bin populated with all of the clips used in that sequence. 

Select all of the clips and choose Consolidate. Consolidate only trims the media if you Consolidate the sequence. When you select the full clips, it simply takes the the full clip and copies the media to your new location. 

Now, as for the wrinkle of ProRes media. If the clips are Avid MediaFiles, but simply in a ProRes codec they should still work with AAF, right? Because they're Avid media. It's been a while since I've worked with anything other than DNx codecs, but IIRC, the only times I've had an AAF balk was because of Linked media.

If I get some time later today, I may test this.
