[Avid-L2] News item: "Exclusive-Media editing software vendor Avid explores sale -sources"

Lift Gamma Gain had lively discussion a few days ago about the following:

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/exclusive-media-editing-software-vendor-172552436.html

I posted that link as a message on the Avid Community forum.  Today I received the following:

"Your post was deleted by xxxxxxxx

Subject: Avid explores sale

Reason: You will not post any threatening, harassing, libellous, false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, obscene or pornographic material, other's personal information or communication, or any material that would violate any applicable law or regulation.

Avid reserves the right to remove posts or restrict the posting privileges of individuals that exhibit a clear agenda designed to slander, insult, or otherwise undermine Avid, its employees, our development partners, or any other company or individual.

Thanks,
Avid Community team"

I understand that the Avid Community forum is Avid's and they can do whatever they wish with it.  But deleting a post about an item that is already being discussed by industry professionals seems childish and not really the smartest way to address the issue with it's customers.
