[Avid-L2] Info on BCC Title Studio

In the process of helping a client transition to modern Media Composer (2023.3.0) running on MacOS Monterey. Working out an alternative from the old Titler to build slates. Preliminary testing finds Titler + still completely unusable in an production environment, so we are looking at alternate solutions. Worked out how to build slates with SubCap, which, while it performed well, any tweaking of font or style required putting that line of text on it's own video track. Pushing around 10-12 track sequences just to build a dynamic slate was not a good option. What seems to be a performative solution is BCC Title Studio. Client has full license for BCC complete which includes it. However, I have found that it's initial setup is intimidating for many, (think Marquee on steroids), and out of the gate, titles start with Lights, extrusions and 3d effects on basic type. Can anyone point me to a tutorial on how to do super basic titles (think slates) using BCC Title Studio? I have been through about half a dozen videos on both Boris's website and on YouTube. Possibly someone who has worked with the latest version can give me some hints on how to turn off the 3d stuff and do basic text over background.
Honestly, I don't want to turn this thread into another Titler+ bash, I am looking to find good info on how to use BCC Title Studio for basic type. Thanks!
