[Avid-L2] Varying Size of ProRes 4444 file through After Effects then Avid the Premier Pro?

I took a UHD file into After Effects to convert it to ProRes 4444 to facilitate an easier media transfer with my client.  The resulting file was a bit of 3GB.  Then I took it into Avid to color correct the clip and exported same as source.  The resulting color corrected file out of Avid was approx 2GB.  Then when brought into Premier Pro it is down to 1GB.  Given the Premier Pro sequence was only part of the clip that makes sense but why the drop in size when bringing the full clip into Avid and then exporting after color correction.  Also each file had differing variable bit rates.  I know ProRes has variable bit rate but I'm curious what aspects of this workflow lead to the substantial changes in overall bit rate etc... as displayed by media info program analyzing each file here are the stages in order from origianal AE file, Avid file and finally the Premier Pro export file.  Anybody have any insight into the changes of the various parameters along the way?
