Re: [Avid-L2] Audio Delay options with Mac Trashcan OS mojavi, MC 2018.12.15 and BM Ultrastudio Mini?

I will look into this tomorrow.  I have monitored the audio out of the Sony PVM-A250 and it is clearly not delaying the audio.  I've been told by Sony Reps that the BVM monitors would add appropriate delay to the audio out.  It seems the A-250 did away with all the monitor settings that increased the panels video processing delay.  In the past the high quality mode delayed my PVM-2541 to be about 2.25 frames late on the picture.  The fast setting was less than a frame IIRC.

It’s not the BMD device that is causing the syn issue, it’s your client monitor.
The Desktop Play Delay setting lets you delay in frames.
The MonConDel and MonConDelayms Console commands let you set a similar delay on your Source/Record monitors, so they are in sync with the delayed audio and the delayed client monitor.

I'm finding the audio is approx 51-52 ms early being fed from a BM UltraStudio Mini.  The audio advance only changes approx 1 ms monitoring the xlr audio from the Ultrastudio and taking the audio out of the PVM-A250.  I haven't found any audio delay settings in the BM Video Desktop control panel.  Nor in Avid.  Is the only solution an outputboard audio delay.  I bought a couple Behringer Delay boxes years ago for my home system but they introduced too much hum to use.  I never chased down the ground loop or what caused the hum at home.  Too bad the PVM-A250 doesn't delay it's embedded audio out to match the panels video processing time.
