Chip, since RED was EOLed, I recommend you contact Boris Support about getting the 64bit version. They don't have a public link, as it's unsupported, but I think it would solve your problem. I had ongoing issues where RED was basically unusable through MC 2017, 2018, and 2019. The issue was resolved last year with this aforementioned version. Give it a shot!

That's the only version that works with current MCP versions.
In my setup with MCP 2021.06 on Win10, RED works better than ever before!
