The media I transcode or consolidate in the background goes into the _bg.1 folder and stays there. .... I've never see Avid move media out of the _bg.X folder to a numbered one on its' own.You're absolutely right. I just verified on my systems that the media does stay in the _bg folder. I swear I thought that it moved once it was done making it, but I guess I got it confused with the Creating folder(?)
