I though t maybe I could do versions with embedded media, including multi-channel sound, but then that would be too big to upload, and Production would end up having to DHL a drive from here in L.A. to Iceland — which isn't a big deal, except it's kind of a pain in the ass for me.

I'm locking cut on a feature. Dailies by Foto Kem NEXTLab. I cut on MC 2020.12 using DNxHD 115 MXF media. Trailer editor in Iceland on Premiere Pro. Trailer editor in Iceland on Premiere Pro requesting 'Cut List' of locked reels.
So…
Anyone have any notions of what my play is here? Can I just generate an AAF without the media embedded? Do I send a CMX 3600 or File 32 EDL? Is any of this going to even work for said aforementioned trailer editor in Iceland?
Thoughts?

Re: [Avid-L2] AAF/Cut List from MC 2020.12 to Premiere?
I'm shy on operational details from the frozen north. It's also my understanding that he has the media. So, yes, you're right, I'm sure — it's probably easy enough to send AAFs and EDLs and see if they work for him before getting into media-heavy embedded files.
