I suspect that Ben is in an educational environment, as I am. Different rules apply and we, too, are about to set up a lab full of Windows boxes. On our Macs, the internal drive is partitioned so I'll see if our IT folk will run with that on the PCs.

I always considered it best practices to never use the internal/OS/boot drive for any media storage, so this should be a non-issue.
