Sounds like it needs some unpicking as to why and where that gamma shift is happening.

It's a pretty std workflow using SAS that normally doesn't generate shifts.

Same here. Any idea why? I often transcode camera originals to ProRes files and then import them in Avid MC's ProRes.  

Maybe I should switch to transcoding to MXF or have my Shogun capture MXF?  

I may be missing something in workflow but the occasional gamma shift on output has been maddening.

But that FCP badge carried a value that Apple converted into hard cash.
