Re: [Avid-L2] OT: Walt Disney Television moving to The Woodlands Texas

I'm not sure what you mean?  I saw the memo posted on FB.  Are you saying it's not a wise choice for a location or it's not happening?

The wife who is a daily hire got an email from NABET, that said they were consolidating their TV and Cable distribution  facilities at a former Fox facility in Woodland, TX and Bristol ,CT. I know in NYC they sold all their buildings on the UWS And will be relocationg those studios in a new building down in Greenwich Village. Their lease on the TImes Square studios is also up soon.

Just saw a post on FB from the ÅBCeniors group with a memo that Walt Disney TV will be closing up shop in New York and The Prospect Lot in Hollywood and moving to
Texas somewhere known as the Woodlands. I started on the Prospect Lot.  Funny how things change.  The memo said they would be consolidating from 8 locations to 2 Texas and Bristol for ESPN.  ABC say it ain't so.  ;-(
