I have found that the links work when launched using Safari as your browser. Must be an Apple thing.
Also, keep in mind that if an OS is 'too old' for your computer, the App Store will spit up a warning and refuse to allow the download.

Sierra link works fine.
High Sierra and Mojave go to Apple Store and thus links are broken.
