I'm 90-percent sure I'm going to move an active email list with 4500 subscribers (most lurkers, of course) to Groups.io. That's based on talking to some friends who moved their lists (such as the CML lists) to Groups.io from various other systems months (or even a year or two) ago. All have positive things to say, a couple directly said, "Wish I'd moved sooner."
So ya, Groups.io looks pretty good.
One of my other active lists just moved smoothly and rapidly to Groups.io. Here is the transfer process page.It appears to have taken less that a week from idea to full transition. List activity jumped dramatically as idle users were reminded of the list's existence and it appears that new users were also picked up.Just one experience. I can't speak to the admin side, but the user transition was simple and almost transparent for me. One minor tweak to my Mail filter. ;)Cheers, todAgree with Bouke.
