Re: [Avid-L2] good RAID enclosures?

 

I had an Areca SAS raid and controller about 10 years ago. Didn't last long. I don't know if it was a power supply problem or a cooling problem, or what, but it crapped out in under 3 years.

I only had the one, so take my comments with a grain of salt, but I wouldn't buy that again.

Why not use a QNAP? Then you can add another sharing with another bay whenever you need it.
