Re: [Avid-L2] Re: MC 2019.6 Anyone?

It absolutely DOES feel snappier. Like, immediately so. I'm enjoying it immensely.

And yes, it needs fine tuning, which I know will happen (for example, in previous versions, moving clips around in a bin in Frame View mode was very easy. You could place them precisely in whatever config you wanted inside the bin. Now, however, the clips kind of "snap" into place — and not the place you chose -- making it hard to create a nice, tidy layout of organized clips inside the bin.). But overall, I'm really liking it.

Seems snappier. Certainly opened older bins OK. Main thing is the new interface. Needs fine tuning. And if you test, make a complete new user, and delete the existing Site setting file first.

Sounds promising so far. Any feedback on performance from those who installed on a machine that had a previous version? Faster, slower, laggy, snappy?

One thing I haven't read about: bins and projects compatibility? Can we still go back and forth with older versions or is the new MC coming with a new incompatible project structure?

Keep up the good work Avid!
