In order to maintain my dinosaur status credentials current I am a heavy user of Paint Effect with Darken Only being a major time saver in many paint outs. I know the Avid Tracker isn't great but it's the devil I've known for years and I'm very comfortable manually adjusting tracking dots. I've hated that the yellow first tracker always disappears over bright objects especially green. Well today after decades of this annoyance I actually hovered over the tracker color box and the help label said set tracker color. I found if I tap the color it will open a huge pallet to choose from. Clicking red mad the dots visible over the green.
All these years and I just assumed those tracker dot colors were permanently set to the colors that come up as default.
Wow I feel stupid and happy to have finally investigate this. Hope this save someone decades of ignorance and annoyance.
