Fully understood Greg. I do have a broadcast monitor and a Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K I/O. And this is original, uncut footage. When I first noticed this I went back from my transcoded stuff to the original AMAed to see if there was a difference. It appears the same in both cases - somewhat better from Premiere, but still not right. But I do wonder, why does it look different at all from Premiere?
I also understand that uploading a still can be deceptive in many ways. But, in this case, other than my having enlarged part of the frame, the still I linked to earlier is representative of what I see during playback in Avid and Premiere and in an export to Vimeo.
