I'd say in the UK facilities are by far PC based… But I think location hire is more often MAC based.. Although it's a struggle to find a powerful MAC really

I'm not sure I would expect any real difference between US and UK unrelated to other factors, such as enterprise versus small business (IT integration) or urban versus rural (available resources).
I'm curious about the answers we get, but I'm also curious why Mr. Fischler asked the question?

In my experience, the overwhelming majority -- ? ...definitely PC among both cable and broadcast TV stations.
(Unless they're FCP based....)
