[Avid-L2] Re: Holy Sh*t

I'm surprised you've had good luck with morph cut. I find that I can get an Avid fluid morph to look perfectly seamless about half the time; in PP I've tried morph cut maybe 25 times and it's only been remotely usable once. Because the processing time of morph cut seems about 10 longer than fluid morph in Media Composer (on my MacBook Pro, which is what I use for home editing), I no longer even attempt it. It's much faster to AMA import the take into Avid, fix it, then export it and bring it back into PP. I find that it matches back in with no quality, gamma or color shifts.

In terms of posting links to a comparison for you, maybe if I have time this week I can do something along those lines. The only issue is that I can't use a corporate client's actual interview footage. I have to think about what I can share without legal issues (or embarrassing a client).
