Re: [Avid-L2] 'Seat Count Failed on System ID...'

Sometime this could be a cache issue.

There are 3 locations cache files live.  You can use Onyx to clear the cache files of delete them manually

You need to contact Avid and have them reset it.

Hi, again,

I'm only writing again because I'm so desperate.

When I try to do an online activation of my new install of MC (with Symphony Option), I get the following message:

Activation Failed: 101 Activation Failed. Seat count failed on System ID: 259XXXXXXXXX

Fine. It failed. But what does it want me to do? Deactivate on my previous computer? Can't do it. That computer's motherboard and SSD fried itself into oblivion and is no longer a functional piece of hardware. So that's no going to happen.

So HOW do I get around this 'Seat count failed' problem on my new activation?

Much obliged,

DD
