Hi, Marianna/L-2,
My MacBook Pro that I was cutting this feature on here in Ukraine had a catastrophic motherboard/SSD failure and it's a total loss. No data recovery possible. It's a shiny brick until an entirely new motherboard/SSD can be acquired and installed.
In the meantime, Production has given me an iMac and now I have to reinstall everything on this temp system. That's Media Composer, Adobe apps, all of it. I'm in Hell.
But what's really frustrating me is trying to download and activate my Media Composer (with Symphony Option). Logged in to my master account, there are all sorts of activation IDs, and there is a system ID (but I don't know what that refers to -- if not the now defunct Macbpok Pro...?). So rather than tear my hair out trying to navigate this Bizarro World of Avid download and activation, can anyone help me understand what I need to be looking for? What activation ID's? What System ID? Everything I enter is met with failure.
Why? I mean, for the love of God, why?!
(Help)
Thanks,
