re: Symphony as a purchasable option in MC Perpetual... ditto for Phrase Find and/or Script Sync, right? The confusion from rumors is that there is no way now or in the future to add these two valuable options to Perpetuals... that you HAVE to go to a monthly or yearly SUBSCRIPTION "Ultimate" to ever get those two options to work if you have not purchased them before now. If this is true, it is a bad move for loyal users who have been here since Avid/1.
The website STILL says PF/SS are not Subscription products, which should be updated.
Avid popped this on us like Apple popped FCP-X on everyone while yanking FCP-7 in the middle of the night. There should be a grace period for us to still get PF/SS over the next 30-60 days un Perpetual that can't he taken away from us, the way Ver. 1 was suddenly yanked.

If you were paying $49.99/mon for Media Composer before NAB 2018 Symphony was part of the package. Now, When you renew your 49.99 subscription Symphony continues will still be included in that package. Nothing has changed with regard to Symphony at the 49.99/mon price point.
