Re: [Avid-L2] Remove Color transformations from Group Clips?

Thanks for the reply. Yes. He's working in Symphony.

As far as issues working with color transforms...I'm in 8.8.5. I was working with another editor using identical materials and a copy of my set of bins. We did have some problems with color adapters in group clips disappearing. And then ended up in a situation where some worked on my system and not on his and vice versa. Never got to the bottom of it. Could have been operator errors.

I misread you question and missed the part about removing the color adapters.  Is you colorist working in Avid Symphony?  I'm curious if the color transforms/adapters translate to other programs like Resolve etc...  I didn't think they did but I have never really investigated this.

Glad you found the remove adapters.

Anybody else have issues with color transforms/LUTs not sticking to all but the initial clip in a multigroup clip cut into a sequence?

I've consolidated a cut that used group clips.

The colorist has requested that the source clips not have color transformations.

I removed the color transformations from the consolidated source clips but that doesn't seem to affect the group clips (which appear in the sequence.)

Any quick way to correct that other than matching back and overlaying shot by shot?

Thanks!
