We've had this issue on MC 8.8.4 on ISIS and were able to fix it on several machines by moving the Search Data Directory from “Local Default” to "Default" or vice-versa (move it to the opposite of what it is currently using) by using the Settings symbol on the lower-left corner of the Find pop-up window. After changing it, give it awhile to index and try it again. In several of our machines we restored functionality by doing this.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't recall being able to use find on either ISIS or NEXIS.

On Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5, on Nexis. 'Find' yields zero results even when entering a known clip name or even a simple number. So far have tried:
Trashing SearchData folder and files in local user folder Changing Search Index setting to Default (i.e. within project), then trashing and rebuilding those files New Avid User Settings Deleted Site Settings Deleted zUser folder within project Changing directory position of Avid project within Nexis workspace Changing computer ID Trashing AvidBinIndexer folder and files in local user folder
I've also swapped the entire Mac Pro due to a separate issue. Same problem with an entirely new user and settings.
Anyone else finding this?
