We're an Emmy-winning team in Boston, now producing a two-hour public television documentary funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, about Pan American Airways and their 1935 crossing of the Pacific in the flying boat called the China Clipper. Details of our project can be seen here:

We're looking to hire an Assistant Editor in Boston for one month, starting around October 15, to assemble string-outs in advance of the Editor who will join the project at a later date. Strong Avid skills are required, including proficiency and speed with straight-forward documentary cutting, especially sound-bite editing. Effects and finishing skills are NOT needed. Pay is $25/hour; possibly a bit more for an extraordinary candidate. After this one-month job, there may be additional part-time A.E. work available while the primary editing continues through May 2018.
