Re: [Avid-L2] Transcode AMA linked media to project frame rate?

Hi Mark,
That option is available. I just won't be able to link back from Transcoded clips to AMA in the conform/online. There is a way to do it manually but its a long and expensive process. My question is, is this the best way to go?

You should be able to transcode preserving the original frame rate. It's in the transcode dialog's options.

Hi,

I have a 25p project and AMA linking media at 25p, 100p, and 50i. When transcoding, should I change frame rate to match project's?

I won't be able to link back to the AMA linked media when doing a conform. This means it will have to be done manually and take more time in the online, perhaps presenting problems since the timeline will have media of all frame rates. Should I change the frame rate or no?

Would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!
Florencia
