Thanks for the info as to why. Just seems odd given a NitrsDX handled the task and it didn't have Teranex technology. Something as simple as adding pulldown can be handled in a time warp so it would seem that could be handled by Avid without the need for Teranex code. I realize once Avid opened up to 3rd party IO there were compromises in the implementation of the 3rd party hardware but now that Avid is branding the DNxIO and IQ as Avid hardware it feels remiss to drop a core feature of Avid Media Composer Symphony workflows and then require the user to buy a new piece of hardware to get it back.
