When ama file export exporting a DPX there is a field that will add up to 32 characters to the input device field in the DPX header information. What is this metadata for and what software would read it? I opened a DPX frame in PhotoShop 2015 but I don't see a way to list metadata parameters. I'm not deep in photoshop but I seem to recall iPhoto would list all kinds of camera metadata and I'm wondering if the "Input Device" field of info would appear there.
Here's what i found in the online help:
Include in Header (Input Device)
Provide an ASCII string entry field up to 32 characters that will populate the Input Device (field 38) in the DPX header.
